White Cross
The first step is to create a White cross. The corner colors do not matter at this stage. The only important thing is that the four edge pieces match the colors of the center pieces. We will solve the corners later.
White Daisy
The easiest method when creating a White cross is to create a “Daisy” around the Yellow center. Hold the cube so Yellow is on top. Look for Edges with White on them.
If the Edge is pointing towards you on the Left side.
Turn the Top so there is no Edge with White on it on the Top Left.
Do L-U
If the Edge is pointing towards you on the Right side.
Turn the Top so there is no Edge with White on it on the Top Right.
Do R-U
If the Edge is on Top with White facing the wrong way.
Hold the cube so the White Edge is facing Right.
Do R-D
Turn the Top so there is no Edge with White on it on the Top Front.
Do F-CC
If the Edge is on the bottom with White facing down.
Hold the cube so the Edge with White facing down is on the Right.
Turn the Top so there is no Edges with White on it on the Top Right.
Do 2 X R-U
Now that we have a “Daisy” we can complete the White cross.
Turn the Top so that an Edge piece matches then Center color on the Right.
Do 2 X R-U
Turn the cube Right.
Turn the Top so that another Edge piece matches then Center color on the Right.
Do 2 X R-U
Repeat until all Edges are at the Bottom.
The White Cross is complete and at the bottom. Leave it there as we will work with the White Cross at the bottom for most of the guide.
